When: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Thursday, April 14
Where: Grand Vista Ballroom at The Commons (on Naval Station Everett base), 2000 W. Marine View Drive, Everett
Cost: Partner member rate $35 paid before April 5, $40 after ; general admission $60; Sponsor a Sailor $35 (the Navy Affairs Committee is seeking ticket sponsors to provide a free ticket to the event to sailors and guests).
More info: Preregistration is required to the Everett Area Chamber of Commerce by 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, if you plan on attending the Captain’s Tour. Access to the Naval Station requires you to provide your full name, date of birth, driver’s license number and state of issue. Learn about the role Naval Station Everett plays as Everett’s neighbor on the waterfront and the second largest employer in Snohomish County. Capt. Michael Coury, who took command of Naval Station Everett in 2010, will present his first State of the Station address. Optional Captain’s tour follows the event from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
