Prep volleyball: Glacier Peak 3, Lynnwood 1

SNOHOMISH — Ruby Mensing had 15 kills and six assists to lead Glacier Peak past Lynnwood (5-2 league, 6-2 overall) in four sets by scores of 25-16, 14-25, 25-22 and 25-22. The Grizzlies (5-2, 6-4) moved into a tie for second place in the Wesco 3A division with the victory which was aided by nine kills from Maddie Ober and 32 assists and two aces by senior Amanda Burgess. Senior hitter Arianna Garcia provided 16 digs and 11 kills to lead the Royals and teammate Dominique Collins added 12 kills.
