Learn: Teen coaches to offer tech help
Can’t figure out your email?
Sign up for one of the two coaching sessions at Mountlake Terrace Library, where teen volunteers will offer one-on-one tutoring.
The sessions are planned from 1 to 2 p.m. and from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at 23300 58th Ave. W., Mountlake Terrace. The sessions will focus on email. Only a few spots are left.
The library is part of the Sno-Isle network serving more than 600,000 people in Snohomish and Island counties.

Give: Stuffed animals for charity
The Goldwing Touring Association, Chapter C, motorcycle group is sponsoring a toy and clothing drive.
Donations will go to Christmas House, a charity providing free Christmas presents to thousands of children in Snohomish County.
This year, the nonprofit is looking for stuffed animals of all colors and shapes, and for new warm winter coats for ages 1 through 18.
Stuffed animals should be new or look like new.
People can drop off donations at Everett Powersports, 215 SW Everett Mall Way, Tuesdays through Saturdays until Dec. 10. A blue donations bin is set up outside the store.

Work: Restoration project in Sultan
EarthCorps, Snohomish County Parks & Recreation and the City of Sultan are looking for folks to help clean up the site of a future park.
The work party is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 22 at Fisherman’s Park on N. Skyview Drive in Sultan. When completed, the park will have a new campground for tents and recreation vehicles, access to the Skykomish River and a boat launch.
The group will work to remove invasive plant species, including Himalayan blackberry, English ivy and other non-native plants threatening the health of the ecosystem.
Individual volunteers and groups are welcome.
Participants will learn the history of the site and hear about urban forests and ecosystems in the Puget Sound area.

Save lives: Blood drive donors needed
The Oak Harbor Lions Club is sponsoring a blood drive for the Puget Sound Blood Center.
Donors are invited from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 20 to First United Methodist Church, 1050 SE Ireland St., Oak Harbor.
Tasty treats and beverages will be served to donors.
Attend: Dine and play bingo for kids
Clothes for Kids, a Lynnwood-based charity providing free wardrobes for low-income children, is planning its second annual spaghetti feed and bingo night.
