Two Chimacum students arrested with knives

CHIMACUM — Two students at Chimacum High School were taken into custody after they showed up to school Monday morning with a machete and a meat cleaver.
KIRO-TV reports school district administrators said there was a threat and ordered a lockdown.
Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies interviewed five students who weren’t arrested.
The threat was originally reported by the Peninsula Daily News.
