Prep girls soccer: Sehome 1, Archbishop Murphy 0

SULTAN — A lone goal by Sehome in the latter part of the first half, enabled the Mariners to edge Archbishop Murphy 1-0 on Saturday.

Sehome (18-1 overall) scored in the 30th minute off of a corner kick that rattled around in front of the net before being tapped in.

Archbishop Murphy (14-5) did its best to battle back and thought it had tied the game in the 75th minute when Kelly Gould found the back of the net. However, Gould’s goal was called back for offsides.

Murphy will play the North Kitsap versus Lindbergh winner on Tuesday night.
