Marysville Getchell wins first varsity boys hoops game in school history

MARYSVILLE — Brothers Zander and Kaleb Seymer scored 15 and 10 points, respectively, as Marysville Getchell won its first game as a varsity program, beating Everett 52-40 Thursday night.
The Chargers went 10-for-14 from the free throw line in fourth quarter to outscore the Seagulls 18-8 and seal the Wesco 3A victory.
“It feels great,” said MG head coach Corby Schuh of the team’s first win. “The kids have been working extremely hard and everything came together tonight.”
