Man killed in crash near Sultan identified

SULTAN — Officials have identified a man killed in a one-car accident near Sultan last week.

Roy R. Gasselsdorfer, 65, of Sultan, died Feb. 2 after his car crashed into a tree off Mann Road, southeast of the city.

The wreck was reported just before 4:30 p.m. No one else was in the vehicle at the time.

Gasselsdorfer’s death was ruled an accident, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
