Woman hospitalized after being shot in Yakima

YAKIMA — Police in Yakima say a 27-year-old woman is in stable condition in a hospital after she was shot in the chest and neck.

Police received reports Friday evening that someone had been shot on a private shuttle bus that was being used as a personal vehicle. The female victim was taken by the bus to a hospital, where officers met them.

On Saturday, police said that the woman had not yet been able to give officers information about the shooting.
