Man in 20s sought in Edmonds bank robbery

EDMONDS — Police are investigating a bank robbery at Wells Fargo along Edmonds Way on Wednesday afternoon.

Just before 2:30 p.m., a white man in his late 20s robbed the bank with a handgun, Edmonds police Sgt. Mike Blackburn said. The man then ran away with the cash.

He is described as about 5-foot-9 to 6-foot and 150 pounds. He had brown hair and was wearing a dark green hoodie-style sweatshirt with blue jeans and white sneakers.
