MUKILTEO — No injuries were reported following an early morning fire at the First Green condominiums in the 5600 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard.

Mukilteo firefighters responded at 1:30 a.m. Saturday to a fire in the exterior vinyl siding near a balcony. Firefighters quickly extinguished the smoldering fire. Residents said that the fire had gone up the outside of the building from the third to fourth floor and they had worked to extinguish it prior to the arrival of the fire department

The cause of the fire is currently undetermined and remains under investigation, said Mukilteo Assistant

Fire Chief Brian McMahan.

“There is no correlation to the apartment fire last Saturday morning on Washington Avenue,” McMahan said.

The estimated loss is approximately $5,500 for the structure and contents, he said.
