MOUNT VERNON — Ignacio Ponce scored two goals and Lake Stevens held off Mount Vernon to earn a Wesco 4A North win. Ponce fired the Vikings into the lead in the 13th minute before the Bulldogs’ Garrett Barber evened the match 11 minutes later. Ponce then tallied his second seven minutes after halftime on a Zach Bush assist.
