Jennifer Pharr Davis, adventurer and author, to speak at local libraries

Jennifer Pharr Davis, an author, hiker and speaker, will talk at six local venues, mostly libraries, over the next week and a half.
Davis will be talking about her new book, “Called Again.”
Davis set a record for the fastest known hike of the Appalachian Trail, hiking it in 46 days. In 2012, she was named one of National Geographic’s Adventurers of the Year.
Here’s when and where she will be speaking:
- Coupeville Library, Saturday, 11 a.m.
- Clinton Community Hall, Saturday, 3 p.m.
- Lynnwood Library, Wednesday, 7 p.m.
- Monroe Library, Oct. 4, 11 a.m.
- Sultan Library, Oct. 4, 2:30 p.m.
- Darrington Library, Oct. 8, 6:30 p.m.
Books will be available for signing and the events are all free.
