Prep football: Marysville Getchell 35, Everett 26

EVERETT — Sophomore running back Collin Montez carried the ball 38 times for 358 yards and four touchdowns, and also added a 43-yard receiving score to lead Marysville Getchell to a victory over Everett in a Wesco 3A North contest.

After trailing 21-6 at halftime, Everett rallied with back-to-back touchdowns to open the second half and cut the deficit to just three points. Aki Howell scored his second touchdown of the game to begin the third quarter scoring, and Dominic Barashkoff caught a 45-yard TD pass from Murdock Rutledge to trim the Marysville Getchell lead to 21-18.

Barashkoff finished with 11 receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown. Howell carried the ball 18 times for 118 yards and two touchdowns.
