Stevens Pass ski area closes due to heavy rain

Stevens Pass ski area has closed operations temporarily. The area has received 3 inches of rain since Sunday evening, and it’s still raining.
According to their Facebook page, the ski area will be closed today (Monday) and Tuesday. They’ll reassess conditions after that and determine when to reopen.
