Spring beer tasting
Everett’s Middleton Brewing is hosting a spring beer release event noon April 11 at the brewery at 607 SE Everett Mall Way, Everett. Middleton will release four beers: Thai One On, a lemongrass kolsch, You’re My Boy, Blue!, a blueberry amber, Crazy Redhead, a ginger red ale, and That’s My Jam!, a strawberry wheat beer. Taste of the Northwest
Bethany’s 10th annual Taste of the Northwest Wine Tasting and Silent Auction is 5 p.m. April 17 at Xfinity Arena. Tickets are $25 and include tastes of Northwest wines, craft beers and spirits. There will be a silent auction with all money raised going to support the Bethany organization, which assists senior and disabled Snohomish County residents. RiteCare Beer Festival
The RiteCare Beer Festival is noon April 25 at the Seattle Scottish Rite Masonic Center in Shoreline. There will be more than 12 breweries showcasing their beers, food, prizes and live music. Tickets are $30 ($35 at the door) and include seven tastes, lunch and a commemorative glass. Bacon and Beer Classic
The Bacon and Beer Classic is coming to Safeco Field. The one-of-a-kind event hosted inside baseball parks and stadiums across America is May 2 with two sessions starting at noon and 7 p.m. There will be 44 breweries on hand, including Snohomish County breweries Diamond Knot, American Brewing and Justice Brewing, and six cideries. As the attendees walk through the stadium they will get a taste of history through the hundreds of craft brew samples and mouth-watering bacon-inspired dishes local restaurants cook up. Crafts in the Draft
Tulalip Resort Casino is teaming up with renowned Northwest breweries for their Tuesday Tastings Crafts in the Draft. Flights of beer from the breweries will be paired with appetizers 7 to 9 p.m. on select Tuesdays in The Draft Sports Bar and Grill. Tickets are $25. May 5: Deschutes Brewing. July 7: Alsan Brewing. Sept. 8: Pelican Brewing.
Aloha Brewfest
The 3rd annual Aloha Brewfest is noon May 30 at Mobius Hall on the campus of the University of Washington-Bothell. The brewfest features 17 breweries, including SnoTown Brewery, Diamond Knot and Big E Ales, brewing beer with an aloha spirit. Maui musician Willie Kahaial’l (aka Willie K) will perform. Tickets are $40 in advance or $50 at the door. Admission includes souvenir tasting glass and seven tasting tokens.
Washington Brewers Festival
The Washington Brewers Festival is three days in June at Marymoor Park in Redmond. The festival is June 19 through 21 and features more than 100 Washington breweries pouring over 350 different beers. The festival also offers wine and cider tastings, food, music and all-ages activities. Tickets are $20 on Friday, and $25 Saturday and Sunday. Admission includes souvenir tasting glass and six tasting tokens.
Seattle International Beerfest
The Seattle International Beerfest is July 10 through 12 at the Seattle Center Fisher Pavilion. The beerfest specializes in rare, hard-to-find beers and ciders from around the world. There will be live music, food and all-ages activities. Tickets are $25 for a regular pass ($30 at the door) and $45 for the big deal pass. Admission includes festival glass and 10 tasting tokens ($25) or 40 tasting tokens ($45).
Bremerton Summer Brewfest
The Bremerton Summer Brewfest is July 18 in downtown Bremerton. It features 30 Washington breweries pouring more than 70 different craft beers. This year’s theme is randalls. Tickets information to come.
