Individualized voters’ pamphlet material for the Nov. 3 general election is available online.
To find material about the candidates and measures on your specific ballots go to www.sos.wa.gov/elections/myvote; type your name and date of birth; click on “my candidates ballot measures”; then click on “measures” to read explanatory statements and pro- and con- statements on each state or local measure on your ballot, or click on “local candidates” to read the statements from candidates on your ballot. For example, a voter near downtown Edmonds can read about candidates for county executive, county council district 3, other county offices, county charter review commission in district 3, Edmonds City offices, the Edmonds School board, the Hospital District 2 board and the Edmonds Port Commission. The printed voters’ pamphlet delivered in that area includes candidates in three county council districts, five cities, three school districts, two fire districts and three water or wastewater districts.
Officials have mailed printed state and local voters’ pamphlets to all residential addresses.
