Preseason boys basketball poll is out

The Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association released its preseason boys poll this week and three area teams are ranked.

Edmonds-Woodway is eighth in the Class 3A poll, Archbishop Murphy is No. 9 in the 2A poll, and King’s is the top-ranked team in the 1A poll.

The other top-ranked teams are Federal Way (4A), Rainier Beach (3A), Clarkston (2A), Brewster (2B) and Almira-Coulee-Hartline (1B).
