Droning on

You’d still have to tip: Although the Federal Aviation Administration has yet to sign off, Amazon is providing details on how its drone delivery service would work. Drones weighing about 55 pounds and flying below 400 feet would deliver packages up to 5 pounds in 30 minutes or less (Page A10).

Amazon drones can’t do better than 30 minutes? If that’s the case, why doesn’t Amazon just contract with Domino’s Pizza?

Was Mr. Yuk already busy? New York City is launching a new nutritional warning at chain restaurants, requiring menus to display a special symbol next to highly salty dishes, those that top the recommended daily limit of 2,300 milligrams, about a teaspoon (Page A9).

After toying with a few different options for a fitting symbol, New York City health officials settled on a line drawing of Guy Fieri’s spiky hair and goatee.

And the pizza’s cold: A record Cyber Monday, with sales topping $3 billion, was expected to make up for Black Friday numbers that were down from previous years (Page A10).

But we’ll bet shoppers will be back in stores after Amazon’s Domino drones deliver that sweater for your aunt with extra anchovies.
