Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl: Downtown Snohomish bars and businesses are hosting an Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Dec. 19. Prizes will be awarded to the individuals and couples with the “ugliest” Christmas sweater. Participating businesses include: Skip Rock Distillers, Piccadilly Circus, Stewart’s Place, 907 Bar &Grill, Time Out, Oxford Saloon and more. Registration is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Skip Rock Distillers, 104 Ave C, Snohomish. Tickets are $25 day of the event and $20 if purchased in advance at www.snohokiwanis.org, and include two tasting tokens. Proceeds benefit the Snohomish Kiwanis Charitable Foundation.

Sing along: Port Gardnar Bay Winery, 2802 Rockefeller Ave., Everett, offers a free holiday sing along with live music from Dusty Rose from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Dec. 19. All ages are welcome in the lounge.

Winter Beer Fest and Food Drive: Drop off a food donation now through Dec. 22 at The Collective on Tap Camano Island and receive a raffle ticket for winter beers. On Dec. 22, The Collective on Tap will raffle off five different winter beers. Food donations include canned or boxed foods like cereal, tuna fish, fruit juice and more. Skål! Scandinavian Spirits exhibit: A new national traveling exhibition created by the Museum of Danish America in collaboration with the Nordic Heritage Museum and four other Scandinavian-American institutions runs through Feb. 28 at the Nordic Heritage Museum in Seattle. Skål! Scandinavian Spirits focuses on beer and aquavit, the traditional liquor of Scandinavia that means “the water of life.” Build Your Own Aquavit: 2 to 4 p.m. Saturdays Jan. 23 through Feb. 6 at Old Ballard Liquor Company. Feb. 11: A lecture titled “Temperance and Prohibition in Washington” at noon. Feb. 27: Aquavit Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres with Tumble Swede from 4 to 6 p.m.
