Has he already given up on the drones? Frustrated with delays from United Parcel Service and other package carriers, Amazon is in talks to lease 20 Boeing 767s to start its own air-delivery service.

Not to discourage a potential Boeing customer, but Amazon’s Jeff Bezos is aware that his 767s are going to be lined up on the tarmac with the UPS planes, isn’t he?

Wheels of justice: Washington, D.C.’s mayor is proposing new traffic enforcement measures, including a $1,000 fine for speeding more than 25 mph over the speed limit.

Lobbyists would pay a $2,000 fine for speeding but can write it off as a business expense.

To increase viewership, the debate format is being changed to a holiday variety show, “A Very Special Democratic ChristmaHanuKwanzaakah.” Clinton, Sanders and O’Malley will sing “Walking in a New Hampshire Wonderland,” “All I Want for Christmas is a Super PAC” and “What Child is This That I’m Kissing for a Photo-Op?”
