Man struck by car on Rucker Avenue in Everett

EVERETT — A man was taken to the hospital around 8 a.m. Monday after being struck by a car in the 3900 block of Rucker Avenue in Everett.

Part of the road was closed for about an hour while police investigated.

The man’s injuries were considered serious, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.

His age was not immediately available.

The driver remained on the scene and was cooperative with police, Snell said.
