It’s, like, about time: Facebook users no longer have only one reaction — “Like” — to respond to all posts, from celebrating new babies to mourning dead cats. The social network behemoth announced Wednesday that users now have the option to respond to a post with Like, Love, Haha, Wow, Sad or Angry.

That said, the best way to deal with Uncle Ernie’s latest screed about the Kenyan Muslim Usurper is probably still “Hide Post.”

Also, they distract drivers trying to send texts: Gadgetry such as wireless connections, navigation and voice-recognition software continues to frustrate car owners, according to a study released Wednesday.

The systems are so complicated and buggy that even Google’s robot drivers can’t figure out.

Don’t know much about history: On this day in 1905, Upton Sinclair’s “The Jungle,” an expose of terrible conditions in the meatpacking industry, was published by a newspaper called Appeal to Reason.

Today, such a publication would be called Pander to Illogical Falsehood.
