SEATTLE — Shenise Johnson tied her career high with five 3-pointers and scored a season-high 18 points to lead six Indiana players in double figures as the Fever beat the Seattle Storm 93-82 in WNBA action Sunday.

Tamika Catchings added 15 points, Lynetta Kizer and Devereaux Peters scored 12 apiece and Tiffany Mitchell and Erlana Larkins had 11 points each for Indiana (9-11).

Breanna Stewart’s layup late in the second quarter put the Storm up 10 points, but a four-point play by Johnson as the half expired sparked a 15-3 run that made it 55-53 with 5:16 left in the third quarter and the Fever never trailed the rest of the way.

Stewart converted a three-point play and then made a layup to pull Seattle (7-13) within eight with 3:42 to play, but Indiana’s Briann January hit a 3-point field goal to spark an 8-0 run that made it 91-75 with two minutes remaining.

The Fever, ranked eighth in the AP WNBA power poll, shot 70 percent (20-of-29) in the second half.

The 10th-ranked Storm lost despite a brilliant game from Stewart, the No. 1 pick in this year’s WNBA draft. She finished with 32 points, 11 rebounds and five assists.
