Witnesses sought in Highway 530 crash that killed pedestrian

ARLINGTON — The Washington State Patrol’s Criminal Investigation Division is looking for witnesses to a crash that killed a pedestrian along Highway 530 on Sunday.

The accident occurred two miles west of Arlington at 4:17 a.m.

Shane G. Stieben, 27, was struck by a westbound car driven by an Arlington man, according to a Washington State Patrol report.

Detectives are seeking witnesses to the collision or any events leading up to or after the crash.
