New Marysville barbecue joint offers Texas-style meats
Published 1:30 am Thursday, August 11, 2016
Jeff’s Texas Style BBQ opened its doors in Marysville earlier this year. The restaurant at 9214 State Ave. offers a variety of smoked meats, including its special brisket. Owner and pit master Jeff Knoch follows in a style of barbecue that stems from the Hill Country region of Texas. All dishes are made from scratch. To ensure only the freshest product, Knoch never cools and reheats the meat. Only the meat expected to be sold each day is smoked in advance, and when it’s sold out, it’s gone for the day. Hours at Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. or until the meat sells out.
