Maroon 5 is heading back out on the road.
The superstar pop rock band led by Adam Levine, the singer who also stars on the singing competition show “The Voice,” will head to KeyArena at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 11.
The band has an impressive list of hits at this point, with five albums under its belt, all featuring some major hits. Those include recent successes like “Animals” and “Sugar,” along with earlier singles, including “This Love” and “She Will Be Loved.”
Fans won’t only hear those old hits, however. They also likely will get a taste of new material during the band’s Seattle stop. The group is workshopping music for an upcoming sixth album.
Tickets are $26.50 to $122 at ticketmaster.com or 800-745-3000.
Seattle also will welcome Seven Lions to the WaMu Theater at 6 p.m. Oct. 8.
Seven Lions actually is just one guy, a famed electronica producer who topped the dance charts earlier this year with his latest album, “Creation.” That success continued an upward trend for the California-born musician, who has seen his popularity rise in recent years.
The show will also feature Mat Zo, Henry Fong, Grum and Said the Sky.
Tickets are $36 at ticketmaster.com or 800-745-3000.
The Paramount Theatre in Seattle, meanwhile, will be exceptionally busy in the days ahead as it brings three very different acts to its stage.
First up is a visit from Phantogram, which will play the venue at 8 tonight, Oct. 7.
The dreamy electronica act hit it big in 2014 with its album “Voices,” which was jointly released by Seattle’s Barsuk Records and the major label Republic. The band is now heading back on the road behind its latest disc, “Three,” which is expected in stores the same day as its Seattle show.
Tickets are $28.25 at stgpresents.org or 877-784-4849.
Then, Beach Boys mastermind Brian Wilson will visit the Paramount Theatre at 8 p.m. Oct. 8 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his beloved album “Pet Sounds,” playing the disc in its entirety along with other hits.
The album, featuring tracks like “Wouldn’t It Be Nice,” “God Only Knows” and “Sloop John B,” is considered one of the most influential discs of all time, an album that pushed contemporaries like the Beatles towards more personal and thoughtful lyrics and has gone on to inspire countless modern-day acts.
Tickets are $51.25 to $121.25 at stgpresents.org or 877-784-4849.
Then, at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 11, Glass Animals will hit the Paramount Theatre.
The English indie rockers have won fans with their take on modern day psychedelic rock. They are heading out in support of a new disc, the band’s second full-length album, “How to Be a
Human Being.”
Tickets are $31.25 at stgpresents.org or 877-784-4849.
Another English artist, James Blake, will be playing the Moore Theatre at 8 p.m. Oct. 12.
Blake quickly became a favorite of critics after the release of his self-titled debut, a collection of soulful electronica featuring the single “Limit to Your Love.”
He’s on tour now after the May release of his third album, “The Colour in Anything,” which found him collaborating with like-minded souls such as Frank Ocean and Bon Iver.
Tickets are $32.50 at stgpresents.org or 877-784-4849.
Finally, the cultishly adored indie rock act Okkervil River will return to Seattle for a show at the Neptune Theatre at 8 p.m. Oct. 8.
The band, led by songwriter Will Sheff, is known for its highly literate lyrics and anthem-ready take on alt-country-infused indie rock. The band is touring behind its latest album, “Away.”
Tickets are $20 at stgpresents.org or 877-784-4849.
