Seattle’s latest music phenomenon will perform at the Paramount Theatre to celebrate with local fans during a three-night stand starting this weekend.

The Head &The Heart will headline the downtown venue from Nov. 5 to Nov. 7, with shows starting at 8 p.m., 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., respectively.

The group, which released its first two albums on Seattle’s Sub Pop Records, is touring now behind its third album, “Signs of Light,” which was the act’s first disc for major label Warner Bros.

That graduation follows a steady stream of success for the band. The group’s blend of indie folk and pop rock struck a chord early with hits like “Lost in My Mind,” and has continued on to this year, when the group returned to the charts with the catchy anthem “All We Ever Knew.”

Few tickets remained as of press time for $40.50 at stgpresents.org or 877-784-4849.

Lauryn Hill also is back on the road, as the iconic R&B singer brings her “A Diaspora Calling!” concert series to McCaw Hall in Seattle at 8 p.m. Nov. 6.

The show will feature Hill alongside special guests from the African diaspora — that is, black artists now living outside of their historic homelands. The shows, Hill says, could serve as a jumping off point for discussion and healing during tense times.

Hill has always had a strong cultural and political undercurrent to her music, dating back to her days as a member of the Fugees, the famed rap group whose name is a shortening of the word refugee.

Outside of her work with that act, she is best known for her 1998 solo album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” which cleaned up at the Grammy awards, sold millions of copies and remains beloved to this day.

Tickets are $54 to $749 at ticketmaster.com or 800-745-3000.

Five Finger Death Punch and Shinedown, meanwhile, will team up for a show at the Tacoma Dome at 6 p.m. Nov. 5.

The two likeminded hard rock acts both got their start in the prior decade, winning over fans with their sharply built guitar riffs and brash lyrics.

Tickets are $36.75 to $56.75 at ticketmaster.com or 800-745-3000.

The Moore Theatre will stay busy this weekend also, welcoming a pair of classic names to its stage.

First up is a visit from Bill Frisell at 8 p.m. Nov. 5. The esteemed guitarist has won over critics and crowds alike during his 40-plus year career with a blend of jazz and rock.

His Seattle stop will find him reinterpreting classic movie themes, including “When You Wish Upon a Star” and “Moon River,” with some help from a special guest band, including Petra Haden on vocals.

Tickets are $25 to $35 at stgpresents.org or 877-784-4849.

Then, Boz Scaggs will play the Moore at 7 p.m. Nov. 6.

The famed singer of blue-eyed soul may be best remembered for singles like “Lido Shuffle” and “Lowdown,” both big hits during his heyday in the 1970s.

Scaggs has remained active in recent years, however, most recently releasing “A Fool to Care,” a 2015 album that found him interspersing original material alongside covers of classic soul and rock.

Tickets are $32.50 to $82.50 at stgpresents.org or 877-784-4849.

Rapper A$AP Ferg also is heading to Seattle, headlining the Neptune Theatre at 9 tonight, Nov. 4.

One of the founding members of Harlem’s A$AP Mob, Ferg has found success out on his own recently. He’s touring behind his second solo album, “Always Strive and Prosper,” which features hit singles including “New Level” and “Let It Bang.”

Tickets are $26.50 to $28.50 at stgpresents.org or 877-784-4849.

Another rapper, Mac Miller, will headline the Showbox SoDo that same night, as the emcee plays the stage at 8:30 tonight, Nov. 4.

Miller’s been on a hot streak of late. He released two albums in the past two years, “GO:OD AM” in 2015 and this year’s “The Divine Feminine,” both of which landed in the top 5 of the Billboard 200.

Those discs showcased the rappers easy style and sharp lyrics, a combination that has helped turn him into one of Spotify’s top 200 artists — and all by the age of 24.

Tickets are $35 to $38 at axs.com.

Finally, the Showbox SoDo in Seattle will host Rae Sremmurd, the popular rap duo.

Made up of the twenty-something brothers Khalif and Aaquil Brown, the pair has been landing on the Hot 100 with regularity in the past two years.

During that stretch, its hit singles found the rappers working with big name producer Mike Will Made-It, who is probably best known for crafting songs for Beyonce, Rihanna and Miley Cyrus.

Tickets are $35 at axs.com.
