CAMANO ISLAND — A 78-year-old Seattle man has died from injuries suffered in a Nov. 24 crash on Camano Island.
Kenneth M. Vereb reportedly was making a left turn onto W. Camano Drive when his car was stuck by oncoming traffic, according to a Washington State Patrol memo. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he died earlier this week.
His passenger, a 94-year-old Everett woman, suffered lesser injuries, as did the other driver, a 19-year-old Camano Island woman.
The crash happened at the intersection with Vista Drive and destroyed both cars. The State Patrol investigation continues, according to the memo issued Friday.
