Rotary Club of Everett names Students of the Month

The Rotary Club of Everett on Jan. 17 honored five students with Student of the Month awards.

Sara Thomas, of Cascade High School, has managed food drives and plans to attend Portland State University.

Mohamed Nour, also a Cascade senior, is part of the AVID program and plans to study business management at the University of Washington.

Allegra Braund, of Sequoia High School, plans to pursue a technical career.

Aymee Carrillo, of Everett High School, will be the first in her family to go to college and looks forward to making a difference.

Byron Lewellen, also at Everett High, has been in athletics and student leadership and aims to study political science.
