EVERETT — The Washington Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve earlier this year honored Rodland Toyota service manager Jason Sundet with a Patriot Award and the Everett School District as a Freedom Award nominee. Both honors came in recognition of the employers’ support of employees who serve in the Guard or Reserve.

Sundet was nominated for the Patriot Award by service lube mechanic Joseph Young, who serves in the U.S. Army Reserves as a diesel mechanic at the Joint Reserve Center in Marysville.

The Everett School District was a 2017 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award nominee. The award is the highest in a series of ESGR awards.

ESGR supports the men and women of the Guard and Reserves, including employer and supervisor awards programs, under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act. More info: 800-336-4590 option 1, esgr.mil.
