Fourth of July events

Street fairs, parades and fireworks are planned around Snohomish County to celebrate the Fourth of July. Most events are free, though there might be charges for food, parade or 5k entries, or sports and show tickets.

Here’s where to find the festivities Tuesday.

Arlington Frontier Days Fourth of July:

Pancake breakfast 7 to 11 a.m. at Haller Park

Pedal, Paddle, Puff Triathlon 9 a.m. and Foam Run 5k 10 a.m. at Haller Park

Kiwanis auctions 9 and 10:30 a.m. at Haller Park

Hometown Fourth festival noon to 4 p.m. at Legion Park

Kiddies parade 4:30 p.m. and grand parade 5 on Olympic Avenue

Rotary Duck Dash 7:30 p.m. at Haller Park

Fireworks 9 p.m. at Arlington Boys &Girls Club

Bothell Freedom Festival:

Pancake breakfast 8:30 a.m. at downtown firehouse

Children’s parade 11:15 a.m. and grand parade noon. Parade starts at Main Street and 104th Avenue NE, goes west on 183rd to Bothell-Everett Highway, ends at Pop Keeney Stadium.

Darrington Old Fashioned Fourth of July:

Parade at noon downtown

Mansford Grange Community Fair after parade until 3 p.m. at Old School Park

Fireworks at dusk at Darrington High School field

An Edmonds Kind of Fourth:

Beat Brackett 5K and Baby Brackett 1K races 10 a.m. at Edmonds City Park (3rd Avenue and Pine)

Children’s parade 11:30 a.m. and main parade noon starting near 6th Avenue and Main Street

Firefighters Waterball Competition 2:30 p.m. at Edmonds City Park

Food and entertainment 6 p.m. at Civic Stadium (6th Avenue and Bell Street)

Fireworks 10 p.m. at Civic Stadium

Everett Colors of Freedom and Thunder on the Bay:

Parade 11 a.m. on Colby and Wetmore avenues between Wall and 26th streets

Colors of Freedom Festival 1 to 11 p.m. at Legion Memorial Park on Alverson

Thunder on the Bay Fireworks 10:20 p.m., viewing at Legion Memorial, Grand Avenue Park and Everett Marina

Other Everett events:

Yankee Doodle Dash 8:30 a.m. at Everett Family YMCA

Imagine Children’s Museum half-price admission and patriotic crafts 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fun in the Sun Street Fair noon to 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Pacific and Wetmore avenues

Aquasox baseball game and post-game fireworks, 7 p.m. at Everett Memorial Stadium

Stanwood Fourth of July Parade and Ice Cream Social:

Parade 11 a.m. starting at Josephine Caring Community

Awards 11:30 a.m. and ice cream social noon at Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center

Evergreen Speedway USA Birthday Bash &Fireworks Show:

Gates open 3 p.m., main races start 6 p.m. at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe. Fireworks follow.
