EVERETT — Police are asking for help identifying a man who robbed the Food Mart at 6901 Broadway at gunpoint.

The robbery happened the morning of June 30. The Everett Police Department on Thursday released surveillance images and video in hopes of generating tips.

The man pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at the clerk and demanded money and Marlboro Black cigarettes. He is described as white and about 20 to 36 years old. He is about 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds, with short dark hair that might be red, and long sideburns. He has small tattoos on his fingers and also possibly on his neck. He wore a baseball cap with sunglasses, a gray sweatshirt, a black shirt with an orange design and gray cargo pants. He also had a black bandana over his face.
