WAYS TO HELP

Stuff the bus in Marysville

The city of Marysville, the Marysville Community Food Bank, Marysville Farmers Market and other local businesses and organizations are collecting school supplies for Marysville and Tulalip students starting Monday. The school supply drive runs through Aug. 4.

Drop off donations at City Hall, 1049 State Ave., or a number of other locations around the city.

Supplies will be distributed in late August. If you are in need of school supplies assistance, contact the Marysville Community Food Bank at marysvillefoodbank@frontier.com or 360-658-1054.

Families are invited to “Game On!” at 2 p.m. select Saturdays at the Brier Library, 23303 Brier Road. Play board games and card games. Enjoy a classic, or discover something new. The next “Game On!” days are July 29, Aug. 12 and Aug. 26.

JUST FOR YOUTH

Build Minecraft sea creatures

It’s Shark Week, and teens are invited to a Minecraft sea creature building contest at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Arlington Library, 135 N Washington Ave. Creatures can be real or fictional species. Participants can work solo or in teams in creative mode. There will be prizes for the largest and most creative creatures.

Spaces are limited; register to reserve a spot.
