EVERETT — A 56-year-old man was in critical condition after he was struck by a vehicle in south Everett on Saturday.
The man had walked on to Airport Road around 8:30 p.m. when he was struck by a Honda just north of the intersection with Center Road, Everett police said.
Because of the force of the collision, the pedestrian was stuck inside the car, police said. Everett firefighters took him to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
The Honda’s driver, a 32-year-old Everett man, was not hurt. He stayed at the scene to talk with detectives.
A stretch of Airport Road was closed for about two hours during the investigation.
