The Camano Island Women’s Republican Club hosted a fundraiser Sept. 20 at the Camano Island Library to benefit USO Northwest at Seatac International Airport. The USO provides morale and welfare support to military personnel and their families as they travel to and from deployments.

The fundraiser brought in $8,870, led by the Stillaguamish Tribe with its $7,500 contribution.
