The Employees Community Fund of Boeing Puget Sound this year provided the Work Force Development Center’s apprenticeship program with a new 15-passenger van to transport students to and from the program, job fairs and potential employers.

Over the past few years, the Employees Community Fund has given $120,000 in direct grants to Work Force Development Center.

The Boeing workers also contributed a $25,000 grant to the Foundation for Edmonds School District, to support the Foundation’s Capital Van Campaign and the Nourishing Network program, which helps send home meals for non-school days with children whose families struggle with grocery bills.
