The 2017 Miss Aquafest roayalty were recognized Jan. 29 in Olympia with the Presidential Volunteer Service Award, for together performing over 2,400 hours of community service last year. This is the second year the court has been honored for community service.

The Lake Stevens Aquafest is an annual community celebration. This year’s festival is set for July 27-29. Registration for this year’s pageant, set for April 14, is open. The deadline to register is March 4. Learn more at www.aquafest.com.
