Dog days at Bothell park

Bothell residents are invited to bring their dog (on a leash) to celebrate the first day of spring, 10 a.m. to noon March 20 at the former Wayne Golf Course, 16721 96th Ave. NE. An animal control officer will be there with treats and tips, and Parks and Recreation staff will be available to answer questions about the new park.

The former golf course along the Sammamish River is being obtained by the city and King County through a partnership with Forterra for recreational use and open space.
