EVERETT — A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run Tuesday in south Everett.

Around noon the rider was hit by a car on 112th Street SE near the I-5 park and ride, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said. The driver of the car fled south onto 19th Avenue SE. Police were searching for the suspect.

The motorcyclist was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for his injuries.

Police sent out an updated notice around 1 p.m. saying they were looking for a gray Dodge Stratus with extensive front-end damage.
