2 recent deaths ruled suicides

EVERETT — Two deaths that prompted police investigations last week have been ruled suicides, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner reported Monday.
A woman, 43, was found drowned near the shore of Lake Stevens on Wednesday. Investigators determined she ended her own life, officials said.
The day before, a man, 55, died along Highway 9 north of Arlington when his car smashed into a tree. That death also has been ruled a suicide, the medical examiner’s office said in a press release.
