Rummage sale in Everett
Find bargains at the Carl Gipson Senior Center’s annual rummage sale, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 3025 Lombard Ave., Everett. All proceeds benefit the senior center.

Spring bazaar in Everett
Everett United Church of Christ holds a spring bazaar, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The church is at 2624 Rockefeller Ave. A variety of vendors will be on hand. Lunch is available 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Make music at library
Kids are invited to experiment with making music in unique ways, 2 p.m. Monday at the Mukilteo Library, 4675 Harbour Pointe Blvd. Make music with a wind tunnel, experience a musical bench, play with oscillation and pitch, make a music and light show when you move, make music with marble runs, and try out PVC pipe instruments.

Tea, fashion in Stanwood
The annual Spring Tea and Vintage Fashion Exhibit will be held 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. April 21, with tea served at 1:30, at the Stanwood Area Historical Society’s Floyd Norgaard Cultural Hall, 27130 102nd Ave., Stanwood. Tickets are $20. Prepaid reservations are required by April 16.
Enjoy tea, see the “Waistlines and Hemlines” exhibit and a new dollhouse exhibit, enjoy a raffle and silent auction and compete for prizes for best hat and vintage outfit.

WAYS TO HELP
Teen service hours
Middle school students (grades 6-8) can earn community service credit by helping out at the Mukilteo Library, 4675 Harbour Pointe Blvd., 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday (first Saturday, September to May). Help prepare crafts for library programs, pick up and clean up, sort books and more. No need to sign up. Meet in the teen area.

Volunteer in Mill Creek
Five Mill Creek community groups will host an event in April where locals can learn about volunteer opportunities and other ways to get involved. The event is set for 4 to 7 p.m. April 18 at Arena Sports, 13500 Bothell-Everett Highway. The local Rotary, Kiwanis and Lions clubs will be on hand, along with the Mill Creek Business Association and the city of Mill Creek.
Food and beverages will be provided. There also will be raffle prizes.

Donate eyeglasses, hearing aids
Lions Clubs collect used eyeglasses and hearing aids. Donations may be made at Everett Public Library branches, the PUD main office and at most opticians and eye doctors.
