Pedestrian injured after being struck on Broadway in Everett

EVERETT — A man was hit by a car while crossing Broadway in Everett on Saturday night.

He was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett and is expected to survive, according to police.

Around 7 p.m., a man driving north in a Volkswagen Jetta hit the other man, who was in the roadway in the 2100 block.

The driver stayed on scene. Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors.
