Tie-dye in Stanwood

Middle and high school students are invited to tie-dye their own gear, or grab an item from a mystery bag, at a “Tie-Dye Rules!” event, 3 to 5 p.m. June 21 at the Stanwood Library, 9701 271st St. NW. Registration is required.

Lighthouse opens extra days

The Mukilteo Lighthouse will open with special days and hours this summer to coincide with the Mukilteo Farmer’s Market. The first special open house is 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Other open hours on market days: July 18, Aug. 1, Aug. 15, Sept. 5 and Sept. 19.

These are in addition to the lighthouse’s normal hours of noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through September.

The lighthouse is closed July 4.

New labyrinth opens

A ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new labyrinth is set for 4:30 p.m. Thursday, just west of Stanwood City Hall, 10220 270th St. NW. The city provided the concrete pad and Stanwood Labyrinth Committee members handled design and painting. Local business owners donated supplies.

Thursday’s event will include live music, an opportunity to walk the labyrinth and information on future labyrinth installations.

Open house planned

Victim Support Services holds an open house, 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday at 5023 Claremont Way, Everett. Learn more about the nonprofit while enjoying food, games, a raffle, music and more. Admission is free.

Victim Support Services provides help for victims of crime with a 24-hour hotline, support groups, advocacy and education.

Celebrate music on Camano

Musicians are invited to come make music at the Terry’s Corner greenspace, 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, near the Camano Island Library at 848 N Sunrise Blvd. The program will be held in the library if it rains. Make Music Day is held the first day of summer each year in cities around the world. Musicians of every age and ability are invited to perform, host a strum-along or just see what others are doing.

Moving sale for horses

All Breed Equine Rez-Q is moving and plans a large yard and tack sale this weekend to prepare. The sale is set for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at its current location at 2415 116th St. NE, Marysville. Items for sale include horse tack as well as house furniture. Cash only.

Toys for Tots drive

Toys for Tots of Snohomish County holds a toy drive from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the Lynnwood Toys R Us, 18601 Alderwood Mall Parkway. The Seahawks mascot, Blitz, is scheduled to visit 5 to 7 p.m. Donations of backpacks, toys and money will be accepted.
