Merchants thump the Redmond Dudes, 13-3

REDMOND — Max Whitt and Ethan Smith were the hitting stars Sunday as the Everett Merchants baseball team defeated the Redmond Dudes, 13-3.

Whitt went 3-f0r-3 with a home run and drove in two runs. Smith was 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Jake Tilley also homered for the Merchants.

Gavin Bullock earned the win. He threw five innings, allowing just one earned run and striking out five.
