EDMONDS — Seven people, five adults and two children, were displaced Tuesday morning after a fire at their Edmonds apartment complex.

No injuries were reported.

Police blocked streets about 10:30 a.m around the scene, the Royal Terrace apartments on 80th Avenue W.

Electrical lines were taken out by the two-alarm fire. The power was briefly knocked out as a result.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. At least three units sustained damage from smoke and fire, according to South County Fire.

The American Red Cross was assisting those displaced.
