Help of Safeway employee appreciated after wallet misplaced

On Thursday, I could not find my wallet. Last I remembered, I’d used it at the Everett Safeway on 41st Street. The nicest Safeway lady showed great concern when we determined that no one had turned it in. She even went to the trouble of reviewing the security video for the time I’d been in and let me know that it showed me returning my wallet to my pocket before leaving the store. She knew that would give me peace of mind.

The following day she followed up with a phone call to see if I had found my wallet. I sheepishly told her that it had been left at home when I’d gone out later that evening and discovered it “missing.” She rejoiced with me over the happy ending.

This dear lady has been my cashier several times over the last few months and without fail she is pleasant and concerned for every customer. She genuinely cares that we have a good experience. I did not get her name but I do commend Safeway for hiring such a kind and encouraging person.
