SNOHOMISH — A shooting left a man with a bullet wound to the arm Wednesday night near Snohomish.

Deputies believe the Monroe man, 27, had set up a drug deal over Snapchat, with a plan to meet at a parking lot along the Centennial Trail. He was sitting in the vehicle around 8:30 p.m. in the 5800 block of South Machias Road when he was shot through the driver’s window, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

An ambulance took the injured man to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

The suspect fled.

Two shotgun shell casings were recovered at the trailhead.
