SPOKANE — Zach Ashton scored his first two goals of the season and the U.S. Division-leading Everett Silvertips rolled to a 6-1 victory on Friday night for back-to-back wins over the Spokane Chiefs.

Cole Fonstad, Ryan Hofer, Hunter Campbell and Austin Roest also score for Everett (13-3-0-0), which had 39 shots on goal.

A late goal from Spokane’s Cordel Larson erased the shutout, but Dustin Wolf earned the win for the Silvertips by stopping 21 of 22 shots.

Mason Beaupit stopped 29 of 34 shots, and Manny Panghli stopped 4 of five shots in relief for Spokane (4-7-2-1).
