PORTLAND — Gage Goncalves and Cole Fonstad each scored in the third period and Dustin Wolf made 37 saves as the Everett Silvertips earned a 3-2 road win over the Portland Winterhawks on Tuesday.

Goncalves’ goal was his 11th of the season, and Fonstad’s was his team-leading 12th. Jacob Wright also scored for the Silvertips.

With the win, Everett (14-3-0-0) extended its U.S. Division lead to a whopping nine points over Portland (8-6-3-0).

Wolf faced 39 shots, but earned his thirteenth win of the season.
