PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Malakhi Knight, sr., G, Marysville Getchell

COACH OF THE YEAR
Tevin Dillon, Mariner
Dillon guided the Marauders to a dominant 10-0 season. Mariner was the lone Wesco team to finish unbeaten and outscored opponents by 23.4 points per game, while winning all but two of its contests by at least 20 points. It marks the latest chapter of the Marauders’ massive turnaround under Dillon, who has transformed his alma mater’s once-struggling program since taking the helm in 2016.
FIRST TEAM
Malakhi Knight, sr., G, Marysville Getchell
Knight is The Herald’s player of the year for the second consecutive season. After leading the Chargers to their first-ever state tournament appearance last year, the UCLA baseball signee and projected early-round Major League Baseball draft pick averaged 28.6 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 4.2 steals and 1.7 blocks per game this spring. He scored more than 35 points in three of the nine games he played and led Marysville Getchell to a 6-4 record. He averaged more than 25 points per game in each of the last three seasons and finished with approximately 1,800 career points, despite an abbreviated senior year.
Elijah Johnson, jr., G, Shorecrest
Johnson averaged 29.3 points, seven assists and two rebounds per game while leading the Scots to a 9-1 campaign. Early in the season, he made a game-winning putback at the buzzer to lift Shorecrest to a win over Archbishop Murphy.
BJ Kolly, sr., P, Mariner
Kolly averaged 17 points, eight rebounds and two blocks per game while playing a key role in the Marauders’ dominant 10-0 season. His all-around play helped Mariner finish with both the top scoring offense and top scoring defense in Wesco.
Tucker Molina, sr., W, Glacier Peak
Molina averaged 15.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and 7.2 assists. The versatile 6-foot-7 wing helped lead the Grizzlies to a 7-2 campaign.
Bobby Siebers, jr., W, Glacier Peak
Siebers averaged 19.9 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists while helping lead the Grizzlies to a 7-2 season.
Shae Dixon, sr., G, Lakewood
Dixon averaged 21 points and five rebounds per game while shooting 48% from the field and leading the Cougars to a 9-1 campaign. He tied a school record with 43 points in a win over Cedarcrest.
SECOND TEAM
Cort Roberson, sr., G, Stanwood
Roberson averaged 21 points, five rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. The University of Wyoming preferred walk-on shot 38% from 3-point range.
Ethan Martin, jr., W, Arlington
Martin averaged 22 points, seven rebounds, 2.5 assists and two steals per game.
Taras Fesiienko, sr., G, Everett
Fesiienko averaged 19.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.4 steals per game.
Henry Avra, sr., W, Mariner
Avra averaged 15 points and seven rebounds per game while playing a key role in the Marauders’ dominant 10-0 season. His all-around play helped Mariner finish with both the top scoring offense and top scoring defense in Wesco.
Brendan Beier, sr., G, Kamiak
Beier averaged 18 points, six rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 51% from the field. He led the Knights to a 7-5 campaign.
Jace Breakfield, sr., P, Mountlake Terrace
Breakfield averaged 12 points, 9.3 rebounds and two blocks per game while helping lead the Hawks to an 8-2 season. The 6-foot-6 post was a key part of a Mountlake Terrace defense that allowed the second-fewest points per game in Wesco.
